Meet Greg Whitten

Family Law Attorney, Trusted Advocate, and Longtime Collin County Resident

When you’re facing a divorce, a custody dispute, or another legal matter involving your family, you’re not just managing paperwork. You’re protecting your children, your future, and your peace of mind.

At the heart of Whitten Legal is Greg Whitten, a seasoned family law and trial attorney who understands that no two families—or cases—are ever the same.

With a background in finance and decades of trial experience, Greg brings uncommon insight to complex family law cases, particularly those involving high-asset divorce and contested custody. He sees not just the legal details, but also how those issues are likely to be viewed by local judges and juries.

Complex Litigation Experience

Greg began his legal career representing large companies in complex commercial litigation, leveraging his business and finance background.

But in 2006, he made a deliberate decision to resign from his partnership in Dallas and launch his own firm in McKinney so he could focus on family law–and spend more time with his own growing family.
